first impressions.
visual. Average height, with a slightly athletic build. He keeps meticulous care of his appearance, even if he's been denied his own reflection for centuries.
fashion. He appreciates finery, even if he doesn't wear much of it. His clothing exudes an air of class, but on closer inspection, seems to be well-worn and carefully repaired over and over.
demeanor. He carries himself with an air of whimsical nonchalance. Always the first to crack a witty quip, it's rare to see him without a smile—even if it's forced.
aural. Airy, mellifluous, and always laughing—but when his mood sours, his tone tends to lean into a growl, as if the prince were actually a beast all along.
olfactory. Bergamot, brandy, rosemary, and a distinct tinge of iron underlying it all.
mental. The feeling of being lost and hunted by some unseen creature in moonlight soaked woods. Paranoia, anger, pain—these are the paramount emotions flooding Astarion's mind. There is a desperation to survive, no matter the means nor cost, but there is also insurmountable doubt that he can do it, too. Whatever demons lurk within his skull, he is desperate to cover them up with any scrap of good he can hold onto.
medical. After living as a vampire for more than two centuries, and sustaining himself on a blood-only diet, Astarion clearly suffers from some form of malnutrition. His skin is sickly pale, his eyes sunken, and his spidery veins are clearly visible around his lips and in his arms.
magical. As a spawn, Astarion has no magical powers.
abilities. Proficiency with lockpicking, larceny, and flirting his way through most situations.
